World Languages

Many reputable dictionaries define “World Language” as a language known or spoken in many countries. Although some of the languages I blog about are not officially “world languages,” I have included them in my blog and the list below with the end of providing insight and inspiration regarding the acquisition of languages in general.

English

French

German

Irish (not officially a World Language as it is only spoken on a daily basis by 30,000 people in Ireland)

Italian

Spanish

Ukraine

Russian
